Getting started
Fund your vault
Deposit USDC or the market's stock into your vault before you trade, and withdraw whenever no order is resting.
Your vault holds the USDC and stock you trade with. The settlement program keeps one vault per wallet per market, and only your wallet's signature can move money in or out.
Deposit#
- In the Vault panel, choose Deposit and the asset: USDC or the market's stock.
- Enter an amount, or choose Max to deposit everything that asset holds in your wallet.
- Approve the transaction in your wallet.
The status line at the bottom of the screen shows Confirming on Solana until the transaction is finalized, and the vault then shows the new balance. Your first deposit also opens your vault, in the same transaction.
Withdraw#
Choose Withdraw, the asset and the amount, then approve it in your wallet. USDC and stock go back to your wallet's own token accounts; the transaction creates them if they don't exist yet.
You can withdraw whenever no order is resting. While an order rests, the whole vault is reserved for it: see The vault and reservation.
Exact amounts#
Amounts are exact integers on chain: USDC has six decimals, and each stock has its own (up to eight). The amount fields stop at the asset's decimals, and the app sends exactly what you enter.
If a transfer is interrupted#
Before broadcasting, the app saves the exact signed transaction on this device. If the page closes or the network drops mid-way, the vault panel offers Resume the saved deposit (or withdrawal) to confirm that same transaction. A new transfer waits until it is resolved, so a retry can never move funds twice. See Resume a saved transaction.
